- Call for hosting the 8th European Feminist Research Conference
The European Feminist Research Conferences have until now been organised under the auspices of AOIFE. The new association ATGENDER will take over the responsibility of organising the following European Feminist Research Conferences. In the Closing session of the 7th EFRC, Kirsi Saarikangas and Berteke Waaldijk did a call for a conference host, explaining that the Founding Board of ATGENDER will take a decision on this. Institutes can send in a bid for hosting the 8th EFRC until September 2009. AOIFE members who are interested in organising the 8th European Feminist Research Conference in 2012 are welcome to offer their candidacy for hosting the conference. Please send an e-mail to the AOIFE Secretariat for more information and for expressing your interest in hosting the conference.

ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS

AOIFE has co-organised the 7th European Feminist Research Conference in Utrecht, The Netherlands, 4-7 June 2009. The conference 'Gendered Cultures at the Crossroads of Imagination, Knowledge and Politics' was attended by more than 700 people.

AOIFE has co-organised the 6th European Gender Research Conference in Lodz, Poland, 31 August - 3 September 2006.
