With some ILIAS installations, a so called Public area opens up after you have called the URL – even without logging in. Within this area you can find information on different content offers – if those have been made accessible -, sorted according to subjects (Categories). By a Search functionality, you can also look out for specific subjects.

In case a public area isn't available, this is because the ILIAS administrator in charge hasn't unblocked it. You then will immediately attain to the login page.
