All project partners are Higher Education institutions, active in both teaching and research in the area of Women's Studies. Furthermore, all participating institutions have extensive experience in the use of ICT in teaching Women's Studies and are involved in local and/or European projects promoting the use of ICT in Women's Studies education.
In the consortium of partners involved in this ODL partnership project there is a great emphasis on the Northern European countries. This reflects the uneven development of this field. One of the main purposes of this project is the identification of new partners, and the inclusion of universities from Southern Europe and Central and Eastern Europe.
Belgium, University of Antwerp, Women's Studies Program
The University of Antwerp is a higher education institute, which is a consortium of three universities in Antwerp.
